The French Riviera is a privileged both for its mild climate and its beautiful scenery. The variety of stops is accompanied by ideal sailing conditions. In a week of sailing, discover the coast and the many islands of Port-Cros, Porquerolles, St Tropez and St Raphael. Why not head out to Corsica, Sardinia and the Balearics!

Weather: The French Riviera has a classic Mediterranean climate characterized by exceptional sunshine on almost 300 days a year, with mild temperatures all year round. The infrequent but heavy rains fall mainly in March / April and October / November. In winter frosts are rare but a sweater is still a good idea. Even in winter it’s possible to find a sheltered, sunny spot to sunbathe, not an hours journey from the slopes of a ski resort.

Sailing Conditions: The French Riviera: As the name suggests, clement weather and easy sailing. During the summer the winds are light, especially towards the east. Further west, near the isles of the Levant, a thermal sea breeze picks up in the late morning and can reach twenty knots by the end of the afternoon, when it’ at it’s strongest. Berths and anchorages are numerous wherever you go and are generally well sheltered from the Mistral wind.
